Wi-Fi enable your NetVanta network with NetVanta 150 Wireless Access Points. Providing concurrent 802.11b/g and 802.11a radio support at speeds up to 54Mbps, this business-class access point is perfect for the corporate environment needing a secure, integrated WLAN solution. The small form factor of the NetVanta 150 allows it to be placed in discrete locations like within a drop ceiling, under a raised floor, or mounted on the wall. In addition, the auto-sensing 10/100Base-T 802.3af compliant Ethernet port can be used to power the unit, expanding installation options by eliminating the need to be near a power outlet. The NetVanta 150 offers standard security features like SSID (Service Set Identifier), shared-key authentication, MAC authentication, Static WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) keys and pre-shared WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) keys. For advanced business-class security needs, the NetVanta 150 also supports multiple SSIDs and the ability to disable SSID broadcasts, 802.1x for user-based authentication, TKIP (Temporal Key Integrity Protocol) for WPA encryption, and AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) for WPA2 encryption. Together these security standards ensure a highly protected wireless network infrastructure. The NetVanta 150 employs Virtual Access Points (VAPs), the equivalent of wireless Virtual LANs (VLANs). Each radio in the NetVanta 150 supports up to eight VAPs, enabling enterprise customers to securely segment their wireless network traffic.
